Rename folder description and folder

You can use folder descriptions to make important information about documents or projects quickly accessible. The folder descriptions work at every folder level and can be entered, added to or changed by all users with write permissions and administrators. Users with read and download rights can see the folder descriptions, but cannot make any changes or additions. Under “Documents”, click on the desired folder and then on the pencil icon next to the folder name.

You now have the option of entering a folder description. To save, click on the red tick next to the folder name.

You can change the folder name by ticking the desired folder under “Documents” and then clicking on “Properties” under Information on the right.

Alternatively, you can change a folder name with the right mouse button and “Rename” and save it with Enter. Please note that the name of a folder is limited to 100 characters.
