Cost center report (netfiles Enterprise, Data Room Premium)

The “Cost center report” function gives you an overview of the users assigned to the individual data rooms and the users actually used. The Excel file is structured according to cost centers or other references, which can be stored in the “Data room reports”. This allows you to quickly and easily determine the total number of users linked to a cost center and thus the proportion of the total Enterprise environment.

Even if no cost center is stored in the “Data room>properties”, you will receive a structured Excel file with an overview of all data rooms.

To generate a cost center report, click on “Data room reports” under “Information” on the left and then on “Cost center report” on the right.

If you do not select a specific period in the list, the report covers the entire period. You can also generate a file for specific time periods by clicking on them.

The file contains one spreadsheet per cost center. Each sheet shows the basic data of all data rooms for which this cost center is stored, broken down by calendar month. The “none_cost_center” worksheet summarizes all data rooms without a corresponding entry in the properties, broken down by data room and month.

To add a cost center to the data room properties, select the desired data room and click on “Properties” in the right-hand function bar. In the following dialog, you will find the “Cost centre” field further down.
