Enterprise Administration settings (netfiles Enterprise, Data Room Premium)

Enterprise administrators can make various settings for this in the Enterprise Administration settings.

Enterprise settings at a glance

General

 

  • Project name: Here you can change the name for the netfiles Enterprise environment
  • Send security/function information to:
    • Enterprise Administrators only
    • Enterprise and Project Administrators

Security

 

  • 2-factor authentication for Enterprise administrators can be switched on and off here. Please note that 2-factor authentication for users is switched on and off directly in the settings of the individual data rooms.
  • Automatic logout: Here you can select different times for the automatic logout for Enterprise Administration

User Administration

 

  • Project administrators (data room administrators) are not authorized to change the e-mail addresses: When the function is activated, this can only be done by user administrators.
  • Interval for verification of external e-mail addresses: External users, i.e. users with e-mail addresses that do not use an internal domain, must regularly confirm their e-mail address with a security code after the specified number of days (30, 60, 90, 180) when logging in for the first time. You can also find further help here.
  • Internal e-mail domains: Users with an e-mail address from a domain specified here are considered internal users. No regular verification of the e-mail address is carried out for these user accounts. When creating and deleting these user accounts, an e-mail is sent to the “E-mail addresses of the central user administration”. Several domains can be listed here, separated by commas, and “wildcards” (placeholders) can be used via the asterisk “*”.

  • Black list for e-mail domains: User accounts with an e-mail address from one of the domains specified here cannot be created. Several domains can be listed here separated by commas and “wildcards” (placeholders) can be used via the asterisk “*”
  • E-mail addresses to reset passwords
  • E-Mail Addresses of the help desk
  • E-mail addresses for user administration
  • E-mail language: selectable between German and English

Automatic user synchronization

 

  • Deactivate users automatically: Function on or off
  • List of active users (Excel): This function is for user synchronization with Excel list.
  • Cleanup when inactive for: Here you can set whether users should be automatically deactivated after a period of inactivity (never login for 3/6/9/12/18 months).
