User settings

You can access your user settings by clicking on your name in the top right. Your settings are organized into personal data, general, options, and security.

  • In “Personal Data,” you can change your name, email address, mobile number, and language.
  • Under “General,” you can change the default settings for sending and receiving messages. You can also view your storage capacity there.
  • In “Options,” you can make changes to the appearance and folder & document display.
    In the “Security” section, you can enable two-factor authentication, change your password, or create passkeys.

Administration

There are two user groups in netfiles Send: administrators and users. In the “Administration” > ‘Users’ area, you can add “new users” in the right-hand feature bar.

In the next dialog you need to enter the new user’s personal data.

By clicking on a user, you can make them an administrator under “Users” in the right-hand feature bar clicking “Make Administrator”. You can also make an administrator a user by clicking on “Revoke administrator.”

Administrators can use the feature bar on the right to send invitations to users, reset user passwords, delete users, and view user properties.
