Video Conferences Functions

After entering the videoconference, you can see the following screen with the these functions:

  • Microphone: Mute the microphone during the videoconference. If there are several participants, it makes sense to unmute the microphone only when you want to speak.
  • Camera: Switch camera image on and off. When the camera is off, the name initials are displayed.
  • Screen sharing: Allows you to share your screen.
  • Chat Function: This opens a window where all the participants of the video conference can chat.
  • Raise hand: You can use this function to indicate that you want to speak. A useful feature for bigger videoconferences with a moderator.
  • Screen grid view: Switching function of the screen view between single view and grid view.
  • Further settings: There are various other settings here

  • Blue handset: End call and leave video conference.

Signal tone

If a participant enters or leaves the conference room during an existing video conference, a neutral signal tone sounds.

Recording a video conference

It is not possible to record a video conference.

Shared data

Every invited user participating in a video conference can see the name of the other participants in the conference. As soon as a participant uses the “Share screen” function, all data on the shared screen is visible to all other participants in the video conference.
