WebDAV Interface (Upgrade new interface)

Since December 2023, netfiles has provided a new WebDAV interface. This article is for users who already use WebDAV and want to switch to the new interface. netfiles recommends switching, especially if you are having problems editing Office documents. How do I use the new interface?

You must integrate the network drive in Windows with the new address. You will find the new address in the netfiles data room at the top right when you click on your name under “Security”.

To use the new interface you have to mount the network attached drive in Windows with the new address.

To remount the drive in Windows, first disconnect the drive by right-clicking on This PC > “Disconnect network drive…”, select the old drive and click OK. Then close all instances of Explorer and mount again, by right-click My PC > “Map network drive”.
